NetLabs/Manager is a graphics-based network management platform formanaging a variety of multivendor networks of devices, lines and systemsusing the industry-standard protocols SNMP, CMOT, and PING.NetLabs/Manager allows the network administrator to monitor and evaluatenetwork activity; to monitor, analyze and change network configurations;to detect and correct network problems; and to provide uninterruptedservice even when a network management console fails. NetLabs/Mangermanages and communicates with network nodes through software agentsrunning on the nodes. Managed nodes include workstations, terminals,bridges, routers, or concentrators. NetLabs/Manager 100 manages up to 100nodes while NetLabs/Manager manages several thousand nodes.
